FISIP Undip’s Department of Public Administration Receives Award at ICoGPASS 2026

Jakarta, June 10, 2026 – The Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (FISIP Undip), has once again demonstrated its commitment to the development of public administration science and governance through its participation as a Co-Host in the organization of The 6th International Conference on Governance, Public Administration, and Social Science (ICoGPASS) 2026. This international conference, organized by the STIA LAN Polytechnic Jakarta, was held in a hybrid format on June 10, 2026, at the Wicaksana Hall, ASN Corporate University, National Institute of Public Administration (LAN) of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta.

Carrying the theme “Governing for All: The Imperatives of Integrity, Transparency, Inclusiveness, and Poverty Eradication Amidst Global Turbulence,” ICoGPASS 2026 served as a strategic forum bringing together academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from various countries to discuss challenges and innovations in governance, public administration, and social development amidst increasingly complex global dynamics.

The Head of the National Institute of Public Administration of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Taufiq, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities, governments, and the international community in generating policy innovations and strengthening public institutional capacity. Meanwhile, M. R. Khairul Muluk stressed that integrity, transparency, and inclusiveness must be the main foundations in the implementation of modern governance.

As one of the main partner institutions, the Department of Public Administration, FISIP, Diponegoro University, played an active role in supporting the conference’s organization, from the academic process and development of international networks to the strengthening of cross-institutional research collaboration. This involvement is part of the ongoing efforts of the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Undip, to strengthen the internationalization of higher education and increase academic contributions to the development of sustainable public governance.

A commendable achievement was also attained by the academic community of the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Undip. At the ICoGPASS 2026 event, a lecturer from the Department of Public Administration, Azaria Eda Pradana, S.A.P., M.A.P., successfully received the Best Presenter award for the quality of his scientific presentation, mastery of the material, and contributions to international academic discussions. This award is evidence of the research quality and academic capacity of the lecturers and researchers of the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Undip, in international forums.

Furthermore, the Department of Public Administration, FISIP, Diponegoro University, also received the Best Partner award as a form of appreciation for its commitment, support, and best contributions in ensuring the successful organization of ICoGPASS 2026. This award reflects the strong strategic partnerships that have been built between the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Undip, and various national and international institutions in promoting the development of public administration science and governance.

The Head of the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Undip, stated that the awards received are not only a source of institutional pride but also motivation to continuously improve the quality of research, international publications, and academic collaboration. The participation as a co-host, along with the attainment of these international awards, is expected to strengthen the position of the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Undip, as a leading center for the development of public administration science in Indonesia.

Through its involvement in ICoGPASS 2026, the Department of Public Administration, FISIP, Diponegoro University, reaffirms its commitment to continuously contribute to generating ideas, research, and policy innovations that support the realization of governance characterized by integrity, transparency, inclusiveness, and responsiveness to various global challenges.
